Danny Bickson, holds a Ph.D. in distributed systems from the Hebrew University and was a research scholar at Carnegie Mellon University. His postdoc project, GraphLab, won the VLDB conference test of time award last year. Danny co-founded GraphLab/Turi a Seattle based startup, acquired by Apple in 2016 becoming Apple's deep learning infrastructure team. Danny's recent startup, Visual Layer, is based on the popular open source project fastdup started two years ago by Danny and his collaborators Dr. Amir Alush and Prof. Carlos Guestrin from Stanford. Within a year fastdup reached 250,000 installations and became a company called Visual Layer. Visual Layer product allows enterprise to manage search and index billions of video frames and is heavily used as part of the Iron Swords war effort by the Israeli government and homeland security organizations.

Saharon Rosset is a Professor in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research in Tel Aviv University. His research interests are in statistical machine learning, statistical genetics, and modern statistical methods.

He is a five time winner of major international data modeling competitions (KDD-Cup, INFORMS data mining challenge), with two best paper awards in KDD conferences. In 2018 his paper “From fixed-X to random-X regression: Bias-variance decompositions, covariance penalties, and prediction error estimation” with Ryan Tibshirani was selected for discussion by the Journal of the American Statistical Association.
 

Uri is an AI consultant who helps organizations choose and implement the best AI solution for their needs. In addition, Uri founded the largest AI community in Israel called "Machine and Deep Learning Israel". The community has over 26,000 members who are the top AI talents in Israel. Alongside that, Uri is a worldwide lecturer that has been speaking about AI in stages all over the world.

Prof. Erez Shmueli is an Associate Professor, Head of the Big Data Lab, and Co-Head of the Data Science undergraduate program at Tel-Aviv University. Holding a BA degree (with honors) in Computer Science from the Open University of Israel, he earned his MSc and PhD degrees in Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. His postdoctoral fellowship at the MIT Media Lab further enriched his academic journey. Erez's research is dedicated to developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) models for understanding, predicting, and influencing human behavior using real-world data from sources like smartphones and wearable devices. Over the past years, his focus has particularly shifted towards the intersection of AI and healthcare. With a prolific publication record of over 80 papers in top-tier journals and conferences, Erez has also edited three books and holds several registered patents. His extensive professional background encompasses software development and management, including roles in the Israeli Air-Force and Deutsche Telekom Laboratories. He has provided consulting services for notable entities such as Microsoft and the Municipality of Ashdod. Additionally, Erez has ventured into entrepreneurship with successful endeavors including Babator, SafeMode, and currently Wizermed.

As the head of the Strategy Center at the INCD Mr. Aviram is responsible for the Cyber Security Strategy, Emerging Tech and Cyber Crime Strategy.
A Certified Lawyer and MBA, Mr. Aviram has joined the Cyber Directorate to establish and promote collaboration in the Cyber Domain with International partners.
As a retired Israeli Air Force Aircrew, Lt. Col. Aviram has led the International Engagement Efforts to enhance cooperation on Civil Aviation Cyber Security with the Aviation Cyber Security National Task Force.
Previously, Mr. Aviram served as a Diplomat in Canada, and as the Deputy Chief of Mission in Peru. Yosi has held leading positions in Strategic Planning, Organizational Development and Risk Management in the Air Force, J5 and the
Israeli Rail Company.

Michael is the Co-Founder and CEO of Clarity, an AI cybersecurity startup that identifies DeepFake media and protects organizations from social engineering and phishing. He is passionate about building cutting edge technological systems in the intersection of human computer interaction and AI. Prior to Clarity, Michael was a researcher at Stanford University and Innovation Endeavors, a Venture Partner at Secret Chord and J-Ventures, an angel investor in more than 70 companies and led AI software at Hippo. He served as an Officer at the IDF’s 8200 Cybersecurity Unit, where he received the 2019 Cyber Excellence Award and his team was amongst to receive the National Defense Prize for building products that integrate AI and Cyber. He has written more than 100 articles on CTech, a leading tech publication in Israel, and his podcast 20MinuteLeaders has featured more than 1000 thought leaders on various domains. Michael is the author of Age is Only an Int: Lessons I Learned as a Young Entrepreneur.

Currently, at Oosto, Dror is focused on developing cutting-edge computer vision solutions and launching Oosto's edge-to-cloud product. Dror's tech journey also includes successful stints at Cognyte enhancing Intelligence analytics, and managing cyber products for the 8200 Intelligence Unit.

Hila is a PhD student Tel-Aviv University, advised by Prof. Lior Wolf. Additionally, Hila is currently an intern at Google Research in Tel-Aviv. Her research focuses on constructing faithful explainable AI algorithms, and leveraging explanations to promote model accuracy and robustness.

Dr. Yaniv Harel was the Cyber Solutions Group General Manager at Dell EMC, a global group within Dell Technologies. Under his leadership the Cyber Solutions Group won, designed, and built significant CERTs and other cyber projects. Yaniv is an expert in cyber defense in large organizations, and at the national level, with years of experience in governmental roles. Yaniv led several technology divisions within the IDF as part of his service. He was awarded the Israel National Medal for Security in 2002. In recent years Yaniv acted as the SVP Cyber Defense in Sygnia a Team8 and Temasek company that focuses on cyber premium services. In his academic capacity, Dr. Harel is the Chief Strategy Officer of the Cyber Center - ICRC at Tel-Aviv University. He assists start-ups, serves on advisory boards, and contributes to several initiatives at the Beer-Sheva Cyber Eco-system. Currently acts as a Co-Founder of a new initiative. In parallel works as an independent consultant to CISOs, Boards of Directors, and global companies. His collaborative academic article "Optimizing AI for Mobile Malware Detection.." was published in IEEE Cyber & Resilience in Europe. Dr. Harel acts as the academic manager of a new lucrative educational program for managers regarding AI and Cyber.

Dr. Ora Fandina is an AI Research Scientist at IBM Research Haifa Labs. Her research interests include the theory and practice of NLP, with a focus on efficient, robust and safe large language models. Before joining IBM, Ora was a Research Fellow at Aarhus University, Denmark, where she explored computational power and limits of dimensionality reduction methods. She earned her Ph.D. from the CS department at Hebrew University in 2020, and her MSc and BSc from the CS department at Ben-Gurion University in 2013 and 2010, respectively. In addition to research, Ora is dedicated to teaching, mentoring, and  encouraging young women to pursue math and science.

Eran Levin has recently graduated with a Master's degree in computer science from Tel Aviv University and holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics. His main interests are computer vision and generative AI. His latest research enables the utilization of diffusion models for new image editing capabilities that were unattainable before.

Jacob Mendel is a General Manager Cyber Security COE at Intel and the Head of industry research Cooperation’s at the Blavatnik ICRC in the Tel Aviv University.

He has been the CEO and Co-Founder of SCsquare Ltd., where he founded a business enabler for security technologies. He holds 16 approved patents in the area of cyber security. His career in cyber security over the past 20 years is a unique mixture of broad practical experience and research expertise. His practice included extensive involvement in cyber security offensive projects (software and hardware), business development and product management. Proven track records in secure operating systems, digital rights management, security certification, penetration test, reverses engineering, IoT security, ICS/Smart Grid security. He holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel.

Graduate of Tel Aviv University, M.A. in political communications. Gili manages events and activities at the Yuval Ne'eman Workshop for Science, Technology and Security at Tel Aviv University, which includes more than 100 conferences and numerus publications. Since 2014, she has also been managing the Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center (ICRC) at Tel Aviv University.
